Welcome to the Heeps. By creating an account or using theheeps.com, you agree to these terms.

1. Who can join

You must be 18 years or older to use the Heeps.
One account per person. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for everything done under your account.

2. Be decent

No harassment, hate speech, threats, or stalking. Treat people with respect.
No explicit sexual content, and absolutely nothing involving minors — zero tolerance, instant and permanent ban.
No scams. Never ask members for money, gift cards, crypto, or financial information. Report anyone who does.
No spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation.
Don’t share other people’s private information — including anyone’s health disclosures. Ever.

3. Your content

You own what you post. By posting on the Heeps, you give us permission to display that content as part of the service. Don’t post anything you don’t have the right to share. Profile photos should genuinely represent you — no fake, stolen, or deliberately misleading photos.

4. Ranks are earned, not bought

Spark → Ember → Flame → Beacon → Phoenix: ranks are earned through verification, vouches, and good conduct. They cannot be purchased. We may adjust, freeze, or remove ranks for rule-breaking.

5. Privacy is the point

Your health information belongs to you. Don’t pressure other members to disclose anything about themselves, and never share someone else’s private disclosures with anyone.

6. Safety and no guarantees

We work hard to keep the Heeps safe, but we can’t guarantee the behavior of every member. Meeting people — online or in person — is at your own risk; please read our Safety page first. The Heeps is a dating community, not a medical service, and nothing on this site is health or medical advice.

7. Enforcement

We may warn, limit, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms. For serious violations (including safety threats, scams, or content involving minors), we act immediately and without prior notice.

8. The fine print

The Heeps is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for interactions between members or for indirect or consequential damages. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms as the site evolves; continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
